Do you have a reference for all of these assertions about XP's behavior? I'll buy some of it, but some of them sound like urban legends. I know my brother runs an XP box with 4GB with no problems (and no paging). And yet my 1GB dual-core XP machine is a lot peppier than my 2GB quad-core Vista box.
